Excuses that don't work for not going to school

The kids are coming up with really interesting excuses why they can't go to school each day. Here are some of the greatest hits.

• Tyler tries to convince his mom the flakes of dry shampoo in his hair were lice and FOR ONE DAY he couldn't go to school!!!
• Tyler called Andi by accident and confesses that he and Jack were riding down the stairs on cookie sheets instead of being sick like they told their mom. (Andi told him to get dressed and go to school).
• Samson (the dog) stepped on me, said Jack.
• I can't get my hair to work, said Tyler.
• Izzy wants us to go to the dentist with her.
• It is too cold to go outside to get to school.
• It is snowing and we might get in a wreck on the way to school and that is just not safe.
• We have to watch the new Scooby Doo on TV cause it is a new episode and it is only on while we are at school.
• I can't find any shoes so I can't go to school.
• I think I might have a fever or be getting a fever.
