Izzi's first dance recital was in May. OK, so it wasn't really her first, but we've always been conveniently out of town before now. So, with no excuses this year, and Izzi being very excited, I plunked down the dough for the costume and fees for her 3 1/2 minutes of fame. She surprised all of us by actually performing! She did a great job, we were very proud of her. Of course, Mommy was banned from backstage, ala David Archuleta's dad, because the little princess got a little diva-ish when Mommy was around. Thankfully, Aunt Trina was there to apply her makeup and save the day!
