The Tooth Fairy Strikes Again!
And it was much less traumatic this time. Jack lost a tooth Sunday right after we got home from Ty's birthday dinner. He held it up proudly and told me that while he was chewing gum, it got twisted once (eww), so he un-twisted it (eww eww) and it fell out. I asked him why he didn't tell me he had a loose tooth, and he said "because you would yank it out". Ya, like I've done to all the others? Whatever, my kids are so freaked out by loose teeth you aren't allowed to TOUCH them. Anyway, Jack being Jack rinsed his mouth repeatedly, and then decided he needed to soak his tooth in mouthwash and water so it would be clean for the tooth fairy. We all remember the last tragic tooth loss that included left-over taco meat on the tooth, so I said fine, whatever. He fills a shot glass full of water and mouthwash, puts the tooth in it and sets it on the bathroom counter. Fast forward a couple of hours, it is bedtime, and Jack is looking for his tooth to put under his pillow. The glass is empty. The glass has lipstick marks on the rim. Apparently More ma maw had used this glass and it's contents to swallow her evening pills with. We always used to say she would drink anything. We didn't tell her about the little episode. I didn't want her to feel bad, and besides, as Jack said, she can keep the tooth now. We don't want it back. No pics with this post, for obvious reasons...

Ha ha. That's awesome!!
does your household ever have a dull moment?
I'm not really sure what's worse... this or your grams giving Ryan a hug when he walked in for Ty's party, THEN what I thought was a kiss on the neck (uhhhhm...) UNTIL Ryan pulled away and said, "Did you just suck on my neck??!!"
