My children are pretty seasoned travelers. They know the rules...no weapons on the plane, no yelling "Hi Jack" anywhere in the airport or on the plane, you are in charge of your own crap at security, and if you get stopped for trying to smuggle something through, I won't claim you. No throwing yourself on the floor at the terminal gate screaming, and when mommy gives you a little pink pill when we arrive at the airport, just swallow it. You do have allergies, you just don't know it.
Since Ty is a big kid now, he decided he would pack his own suitcase and carry-on. Luckily, I did a double-check before we loaded up. This is what his backpack that he is carrying on looked like...

Here's a closeup of that cluster, with an inventory...one tech
deck, two Border's rewards cards (because he shops there ALL the time), mini
Uno cards, a foam
liberty mutual hat, a NY key
chain, various keys, a bendy bunny, a magnetic Eeyore, a foam baseball, a mini LED light, and a scrap of plaid fabric, all held together with several
carribbeaners and paper clips.

Oh wait, I forgot the gold engraved ring from some Lord of the Rings game.

The leg irons are rubber and the ball and chain is plastic...do you think security will let it slide?

I've got some serious re-packing to do.
