Mom and I were decorating the living room today, and when I plugged in the lights to the garland above the fireplace, nothing happened. We do the old check every bulb and find the offending one. Mom tells me to go find a replacement while she removes the broken bulb. Apparently, said bulb was stuck in there REALLY good, and Mom didn't want to mess up her manicure, so she proceeded to use her teeth to try and remove the bulb.

And then, AND THEN, she tried to blame it one me. She didn't think it was funny when I told her she had a little burn on her tongue. She really, really lost her sense of humor when Dave serenaded her with "You Light Up My Life".
